PVC Postformed Fire Doors and Fire-Rated Door Sets
Postformed fire doors are manufactured in a wide range of colours and are many times more durable than veneered doors.
Postforming is a process that involves wrapping a PVC membrane around the components of the door and the frame. They are fully encapsulated, impact and abrasive-resistant.
Our postformed doorsets can be manufactured to both fire-rated and non-fire-rated standards.
Postformed doors are predominantly designed and used in the healthcare industry, where hygiene, cleanliness and durability are critical. They are also required in the food processing and food-related industries.

Types of fire doors
A fire door has a fire-resistance rating that determines how long it can withstand fire, usually between 30-120 minutes. These doors are specifically engineered to slow the spread of fire in a building so occupants can evacuate the building safely.
FD30 fire doors
Fire-tested to provide fire protection for 30 minutes. Suitable for low-rise residential properties and office spaces where a quick evacuation is possible.
FD60 fire doors
FD60 fire doors are essential in commercial and industrial environments. These doors are designed to endure fire for 60 minutes.
FD90 fire doors
FD90 fire doors provide 90 minutes of protection from fire, allowing occupants to evacuate safely. These doors are rigorously tested to meet stringent fire ratings.
